Amazon Unveils the Fire Phone| Stuffed with Impressive features | Full Review

Building upon its wide expertise in tablet space,Amazon unveiled its first smartphone today. So yes,all those rumors were true after all.

It's called the Amazon Fire Phone and its main selling points are bound to be Amazon's reach in terms of content services,as well as the unique 3D UI dubbed Dynamic Perspective.

This much talked about feature changes what's depicted on the screen depending on where you are in relation to the phone. It accomplishes this by tracking your eyes with four specialized cameras that are located in the front corners of the handset.

Dynamic Perspectives ties in nicely with tilt gestures that allow you to initiate actions by simply moving the phone. For example, you can tilt the device to scroll inside the browser ,something eerily reminiscent of Samsung's Smart Scroll feature. And the same thing works inside ebooks, and even games.

As previously leaked, the Fire Phone boasts a 4.7-inch IPS 720p touchscreen with 590 nits of brightness, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with a 2.2 GHz Quad-Core CPU and Adreno 330 GPU,and 2 GB of RAM.It has support for 4G LTE.

The handset's frame is made from rubber, and a sheet of Gorilla Glass 3 is present both on its front and back. The buttons are made of anodized aluminium.

The rear camera is a 13 MP f/2.0 unit with a five-element lens, and it comes with optical image stabilization as well as a dedicated hardware button.Amazon is throwing in free unlimited photo storage in its Cloud Drive.

The Fire Phone has two stereo speakers on the front with virtual surround sound. The earbuds that come in the box has a tangle-free cable and they snap to each other thanks to built-in magnets.

The Amazon Fire Phone runs Fire OS 3.5,which seems to be the same OS used on the Kindle Fire line of tablets. It's based on Android but lacks any of the Google Services.

Obviously Amazon has made a big deal about its content services too.Movies,TV shows,music.books.magazines,and newspapers-all are available right from the retail giant itself.

Furthermore,a new exclusive feature called Firefly uses the phone's camera or microphone to recognize the things around you and then find them in its database. So you can point the camera at a book,it's recognized and you're then immediately offered the option to purchase it from Amazon. This also works for identifying TV shows and songs, and it has its own dedicated button on the side of the Fire phone.

Another exclusive feature is Mayday, which gets you 24/7 remote support for any task you would like to accomplish on the phone.

Amazon's first smartphone is exclusive to AT&T in the US.You can already pre-order if from Amazon, and it will be shipping on July 25.

The pricing is far from revolutionary. The commitment free price is $649.With a contract, the base 32 GB Fire Phone would cost you $199 along with a new two-year contract with AT&T.Or you can choose the carrier's Next plans and pay $27 per month for the device.A 64 GB option is available for $299.

So no,the Amazon phone isn't free (not even on contract),but you do get a year's worth of Amazon Prime with every phone (introductory offer).

64 bit vs 32 bit OS | Which is better for you?

Most of us have heard about 64 bit and 32 bit Operating systems, but what does that mean?Which one do you have?Read this article to find out the difference between these two types of OS and decide which is better for you.

At present there are two types of Operating Systems for every computer you are using. They are 64 bit and 32 bit Operating systems. For example if you buy a Windows OS CD,you get two CD's inside the package;one labeled 64 bit and 32 bit.You can install any one of them, but have you ever wondered the differences among them.

A 32 bit operating system is weaker than 64 bit OS.Every instructions the 32 bit OS is doing is 32 bit wide.So it takes lesser RAM.So it need multiple CPU clock cycle to do complex calculations.A typical 32 bit OS uses only uses maximum 4GB of RAM.(2^32=4 million bytes=4GB).Therefore if you care using a resourse intensive programs like Video Encoding etc,the system hangs.

But this is not the case in 64 bit OS.A 64 bit OS actually removes the barrier of RAM usage.Since 2^64 is 16 million million bytes=16 million GB (Windows 7 can have maximum 192 GB RAM).So you can install as much as memory you want. Also a 64 bit OS can do complex calculations much faster than 32 bit OS,since each instruction is 64 bit wide.Inorder to use a 64 bit OS you need a processor with 64 bit architecture, which is almost every processors now on production.

So if you are a computer user who uses only small applications like Web Browsing, watching Movies, playing lite games,a 32 bit OS would be enough for you.But if you are a hardcore gamer,HD video editor etc a 64 bit OS will be the best choice.

Intel Core i3-4130 Review | 3.4 GHz,Intel HD Graphics 4400

The fourth generation Intel Haswell CPU's has been a major upgrade from Intel featuring a range of Core processors manufactured in its all new 22 nm architecture. The small die size makes the processor very energy efficient and less vulnerable to heat problems.

As usual the Intel Core lineup are the i3, i5 and the i7 processors and we are here to review the baseline core i3 4130 processor which is among the cheapest i3 Haswell CPU's .

Intel has done a major update to it's Core i3 processors in the Haswell series.Inside the Core i3-4130 there are two core running at 3.4 GHz.The processor has a cache memory of 3MB which is not a bad thing. One of the best features Intel has implemented in the i3-4130 is the new Intel HD Graphics 4400.It is not as powerful as a dedicated graphics or Intel Iris Pro graphics but it does its job well.We ran NFS Most Wanted 2 and Crysis 2 in Ultra Settings with 1GB Graphics Enabled with 8 GB of RAM.The processor managed to give a decent graphics but the fps was a little disappointing. But with a dedicated graphics any game runs smoothly. The processor also supports Intel Hyperthreading technology,so many memory intensive application will be fast and responsive.

So overall the Core i3-4130 is a fantastic CPU for the price. You are getting a decent amount of clock speed and Integrated Graphics. So if you are planning to build a budget Gaming PC,the Core i3-4130 is the best choice.

Korean LG G2 to offer microSD slot and Removable battery

There was some confusion at the LG G2 launch announcement event with some sources pointing to a 2,610 mAh battery, while others said the phone features a larger, 3,000 mAh one.Further stir was made with some LG documents and white papers of the device stating the presence of a microSD card slot, when that wasn't announced at the event and the smartphone units there did not have expandable storage.

It turns out that the Korean version of the G2 has some difference from the international one.The Korean-bound LG G2 packs the smaller 2,160 mAh battery, which is of the Li-Ion variety. This allows it to be user removable and can easily be swapped with a substitute one when it runs out of juice.

Above the battery there's also the aforementioned microSD card slot for memory expansion. Those changes have had a slight effect on the phone's thickness. The LG G2 bound for the Korean market is 9.14mm thick-0.24 mm more than the international version of the phone.

Unboxing of the Korean version of the LG G2 video is below:
